People running out of medicines, curfew putting lives of patients at risk: DAK

Srinagar, Jul 17 (UNI) Alleging that people are running out of medicines, including life saving drugs, as they are not being allowed to venture outside their houses in Kashmir valley, Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) said that strict curfew restriction was putting the lives of patients at risk.
DAK President Dr Nisar ul Hassan, in a statement, said one of the critical fallouts of the lock-down has been the sufferings of patients.
“Many patients are running out of medicines and they are not being allowed to venture out. Patients surviving on life saving drugs are at a higher risk and are in a fix where from to get medicines as all medical shops are closed,” he said.
