Srinagar, Nov 14 (UNI)The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday appointed Waheed-ur-Rehman Para as the leader of the Legislative Party (LLP) and Mehbooba Beg as the Chief spokesperson of the party.
The decision was taken in a meeting of the PDP party leaders, presided over by Party President Mufti at its headquarters in Srinagar on Thursday.
The PDP has three members in the J&K Assembly.
Para won the recent Assembly Elections from Pulwama.

The PDP leaders also appreciated the efforts of their legislators during the recent Assembly session, where they voiced public concerns and sentiments within the house.
During the meeting, major focus was put on the hardships faced by the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
With unemployment levels soaring and reservation policies affecting countless young lives, the PDP leadership expressed their concern for the struggles young people are enduring.
The leaders called for a more fair and balanced reservation policy, one that provides deserving candidates with opportunities to build secure and meaningful careers.
