PD act invoked against white collar offender

Hyderabad, Oct 12 (UNI) Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, has issued a
Preventive Detention (PD) order against white collar offender Rajamahendrapu Krishna.
The 30-year-old Krishna, native of Vijayanagaram District, Andhra Pradesh State,has been indulging in a series of offences of cheating by offering bribe forcibly to the officials of the Commercial Taxes Department and blackmailing them in the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate to make easy money and to lead lavish life, a police release said here on Friday.
Krishna has committed 4 offences and has been creating large scale fear and panic among the general public and acting in a manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order apart from disturbing the peace, tranquillity and social harmony in the society.
Panjagutta Police made strenuous efforts and arrested the accused in January this year under various cheating cases registered against him and 9 Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, Sec 66 D of IT Act, 2008 and Sec.419, 420, 120(B) IPC r/w 34 IPC of ACB, City Range-1 PS, Hyderabad and remanded him to
judicial custody.
The preventive detention order was executed on him on September 28,.2018 and was lodged him in Central Prison, Chanchalguda, Hyderabad.
