PCB appoints Sarfraz Ahmed as T20 skipper

Lahore, Apr 5 (UNI) Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today appointed wicket-keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed as the skipper of its T20 international team.
The 28-year-old, who is already the vice-captain of the ODI team has played 21 T20 Internationals and scored 291 runs.
''PCB is pleased to announce appointment of Sarfraz Ahmed as Captain of Pakistan T20 team. Sarfraz was appointed Vice Captain of ODI and T20 teams last year. He takes over the captaincy of the shortest form of the game from Shahid Afridi, whose term as Captain came to an end after the ICC World T20 2016," PCB said in an official statement.
