New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) Convicted in the December 16, 2012 brutal Delhi gang-rape case, one of the death row convicts, Pawan Kumar Gupta, has moved the Supreme Court, challenging the Delhi High Court order where his plea to be considered as a juvenile offender was rejected.
Pawan Gupta's Petiton will likely to come up for hearing next week, as per a source in the Apex Court registry.
His lawyer said that the Delhi High court did not consider his prayer while rejecting his age factor. This was challenged by him now before the Apex Court.
Pawan is a death row convict along with Akshay Kumar Singh, Vinay Kumar Sharma and Mukesh Singh, who were all sentenced to death for gangraping and murdering the 21-year old physiotherapist in South Delhi in December 2012.
