Patna to get metro facility before August 15

Patna, Dec 11 (UNI) Bihar Rural Development and Housing Minister Nitin Naveen said that the work on the Patna metro project was going on war footing and the citizens would get the facility by August next year.
After reviewing the Patna metro priority corridors, Naveen instructed the officers of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation constructing the Patna metro to complete the work within the stipulated period.
Giving details of the progress of the project Naveen told news persons here on Wednesday that the civil work of the priority corridors has been finished and tracks were being laid. The train sets would be purchased soon. He said that the electric and Telecom signaling work would be taken up at the earliest and the people would enjoy the facility by August next year.
