Patidar quota rally violence: SC notice to Guj govt

New Delhi, Feb 28 (UNI) An irked Supreme Court on Friday issued notice to Gujarat Police on a petition filed by Patidar leader, Hardik Patel, against rejection of anticipatory bail plea in a case dating back to 2015 related to violence during a community pro-quota rally in Vastrapur.
A bench, headed by Justice U U Lalit, sought a detailed reply from the Gujarat police by next Friday.
Till then, Apex Court ruled, Patel is protected from arrest.
