Patiala rout Ludhiana by 9 wickets in DP Azad Trophy

Chandigarh, Aug 20 (UNI) The Punjab Inter-State U-19 Cricket Tournament for DP Azad Trophy got off to a wet start as Jalandhar and Chandigarh match at DAV School in Sector 8 here was abandoned due to heavy rain.
Both teams logged two points each.
In the second match between Amritsar and Mohali at Gandhi Grounds, Amritsar, Mohali won the toss and elected to field first and restricted Amritsar to 134 all out in 39.3 overs. Opener Vivek (40, 4x4s) was the most successful batsman for Amritsar. The running between the wickets of Amritsar batsman was very poor as four of them got run out. Left arm spinner Hardik Chaudhary (2 for 15) and off spinner Akash Dhahri (3 for 35) were the most successful bowler for Mohali.
