Pastor Praveen Chakravarty arrested for 'disturbing communal harmony' in AP

Kakinada, Jan 13 (UNI) Praveen Chakravarty, a christian leader, Pastor and chairman of Christian institutions here including Mother Theresa schools, KTC children Home, PVRM educational society and Sylom Blind center has been arrested by CID sleuths from Guntur on the charges of allegedly making provocative speeches through social media thereby disturbing the peace and communal harmony, police sources said.
He was taken to Guntur where a case was registered against him and remanded to judicial custody.
Praveen Chakravarty understood to have made provocative speeches which were circulated in social media , through Facebook and also Youtube channels that he 'personally hate Hinduism and Hindu Gods and destroyed several Hindu idols in the past' .
