Passengers escape as bus catches fire near Chitradurga

Chitradurga, Jan 21(UNI) As many as 30 passengers of a Bengaluru-bound KSRTC Corona bus had a close shave with death after their bus caught fire near Aimangala toll gate around on Tuesday morning.
According to police, the bus was travelling from Belgaum to Bengaluru when it suddenly caught fire.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
While the bus was gutted, the passengers were evacuated safely, the police said.
Police arrived at the spot and made alternative arrangements for the passengers for their further journey.
