Parveta festival to observe at Srivari temple

Tirumala, Oct 25 (UNI) Vijaya Dasami Parveta Utsavam was observed in Ekantham while following all COVID-19 restrictions at the Kalyanotsava Mandapam in Srivari temple on Sunday evening.
As part of festivities Utsava idol of Sri Malayappa Swami was seated in the palanquin and decked as a Panchayudha Murthy holding five weapons - Shanka, Gadha, Chakra, Khadga and Bow participated in the Parveta Utsava.
For the first time Seshachala forests with wild beasts were recreated for this mock hunt festival which takes place on the day immediately after the completion of Navarathri Brahmotsavams.
