Panic grips downtown Srinagar as thousands of fishes float ashore in Jhelum

Srinagar, Oct 22 (UNI) Panic griped downtown in Srinagar after thousands of fishes floated ashore in river Jhelum.

However, district authorities have appealed to people not to panic as experts have collected samples of the water and fishes, suggesting ‘prima facie’ the absence of any poisonous substance.
