Panic grips as hand grenades found abandoned at Phagwara

Phagwara, Feb 5 (UNI) Panic gripped around Panchhat village when two hand grenades were found abandoned near Water Tank near village Narur-Panchhat in Phagwara sub division late last night.
Kapurthala SSP Rajinder Singh told UNI that grenades were seemed to be 20-22 years old ,but the police have taken all possible precautions and sand bags have been placed surroundings these grenades.
Phagwara DSP Manpreet Singh Dhillon was sent to the spot,said the SSP.
