Panchayats to play imperative role in TB eradication: Governor

Dharamshala, Mar 27 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Governor, Shiv Pratap Shukla has stressed on the multi-sectoral participation to eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) in State, he was presiding over a workshop organised in this regard at Dharamshala on Monday.
He said that though there was enough awareness among people about the disease in State but more awareness was required to make the Himachal a TB free State by -2024.
He said that the onus should be taken over by the panchayats to identify the patients suffering from TB and at the same time ensuring their treatment which would certainly bring the desired results. One should have a strong will power to overcome the diseases which is the best therapy in itself.
