Panchayat Sevak arrested by ACB while taking bribe in Palamu

Daltonganj, Feb 7 (UNI) Sleuths of the Anti Corruption Bureau have arrested a panchayat sevak red handed while he was accepting a bribe from Pipra Block of this district today.
The ACB officials said that the arrested has been identified as Ramesh Singh alias Barrister Singh of Tendui panchayat of Pipra block. Singh was arrested from the local panchayat office when he was taking the bribe from one Babloo Singh.
In his complaint before the ACB, Baboo had alleged that the panchayat sevak was demanding bribe to get his payment released for construction of a cattle shed. Later, the man was presented before a special court which forwarded him to judicial custody.
