Panchamasali quota: Kumaraswamy alleges Hitler-like govt tactics

Bengaluru, Dec 10 (UNI) The JDS, on Tuesday strongly criticised the Karnataka government for its handling of the Panchamasali reservation agitation, alleging "heavy-handed repression" of peaceful protesters and "disrespect towards revered community leaders".
In a scathing statement, JDS leader and Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy likened the government's approach to that of Adolf Hitler, accusing it of employing oppressive tactics to suppress the Panchamasali community's demands.
"The disgraceful treatment of revered saints, especially Shri Shri Shri Basava Mrityunjaya Mahaswamiji, the Jagadguru of the Panchamasali community, has deeply hurt me," he said, taking to X.
