Panasonic introduces rugged detachable Toughbook for Rs 2.25 lakh in India

New Delhi, Jun 23 (UNI) Challenging environments, including field services,utilities,oil and gas,public safety and defence electronic major Panasonic today launched its first fully rugged detachable notebook -- Toughbook CF-20 pricing at Rs 2.25 lakh. The Toughbook is equipped with Windows 10 Pro or Windows & professional and is powered by the sixth generation Intel Corev Pro processor technology,128 GB SSD and 8 GB RAM,said the company. Additionally, it sports a glove enabled touchscreen and purpose built vehicle mount and desktop port replicator armed to meet all mobile computing needs at extreme conditions. Kensei Isaki, Manager, Asia Pacific & India sales section, said, 'Panasonic Toughbook have been designed ton meet the evolving business needs of the enterprises.While enterprises continue to diversify ,the need of the hour is mobile computing.Mobility particularly at mission critical situations give an edge to businesses.' The key features of the new Toughbook inlcudes fully rugged detachable PC,that combines the laptop and tablets,with a display of 10.1 WUXGA 1920 *1200 (224ppi) sunlight viewable 800 nit IPS display. The Toughbook comes with 8GB memory RAM 128 GB SSD upgradeable upto 256 GB to 512 GB,along with an identical removable full shift 2600mAh battery that comes standard in the tablet and as an option in the keyboard dock. The latest notebook will be available in August 2016 from an authorised Panasonic resellers at an estimated price of Rs 2.25 lakh, plus taxes with a standard three-year warranty, the company added. The new device connects a variety of ports on both tablets and keyboard dock for maximum portability and flexibility including USB SDXC, HDMI, VGA, Serial, Ethernet, Wireless Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Dual Pass Antenna,optional 4g LTE multi carrier or dedicated GPS.
