Pampore attack is a desperate attempt to derail peace in J&K: Mehbooba

Srinagar, Jun 26 (UNI) Strongly condemning the militant attack at Pampore in south Kashmir in which eight Central Reserve Police force (CRPF) personnel were killed, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said the assaults was a desperate attempt to derail the peace and reconciliation process started by the state government.
Paying glowing tributes to martyrs after wreath-laying ceremony at Humhama, the Chief Minister expressed solidarity with the families of the deceased CRPF personnel and prayed for peace to the departed souls. “My heart goes out to the families of the CRPF men killed in the gruesome attack,” she said.
She also expressed solidarity with the Special Director General CRPF, who was present at the wreath-laying ceremony.
