Palamu: TSPC ultra killed in encounter, one INSAS rifle recovered

Palamu(Jharkhand), Sep 14 (UNI) A TSPC extremist was killed in an encounter with security forces early Sunday morning in the forests between Kash and Banshi Khurd, located on the Manatu–Tarhasi police station border in Palamu district.
Police said the encounter broke out around 7 am when a joint team of COBRA, Jharkhand Jaguar, and Palamu Police came face-to-face with the squad of TSPC’s Shashikant, a Maoist carrying a bounty of Rs 10 lakh.
During a search operation following the gunfight, the body of one extremist and an INSAS rifle were recovered.
