Entertainment » Music and DancePosted at: Jan 11 2016 8:00PM Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali arrives to perform in KolkataKolkata, Jan 11 (UNI) Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali arrived here today to perform at a programme at the Netaji Indoor Stadium here tomorrow at the invitation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha member Sultan Ahmed, who is also chairman of West Bengal Minority Development Finance Corporation,greeted the Pakistani artiste at the city airport. Ghulam Ali, along with his son Aamir will perform jointly at the inaugural show at Milan Utsab, being organised by the WBNDFC, a government arm for minority development, at the Netaji Indoor Stadium tomorrow evening. Bollywood actor Raja Murad would compere the show which Ms Banerjee, many of her cabinet colleagues and a host of government officials are expected to attend. The venue of the show, which was changed three times from Park Circus to Eden Gardens to Mohun Bagan ground, was finally done at the Netaji Indoor Stadiumafter Ms Banerjee's intervention.
