Pakistan seeks UNSC session over Kashmir issue

Islamabad, Aug 14 (UNI) Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has written a letter to the UNSC president Joanna Wronecka, seeking an urgent session on Kashmir issue in wake of New Delhi's decision to revoke Article 370 that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
According the geo news outlet, Mr Qureshi termed the Indian act unconstitutional and against the conventions of the United Nations, should be discussed in a session.
“We are willing to go to any lengths for our defence,” the foreign minister mentioned.
The letter by the minister comes at a time when United Nations Security Council president has already called for 'bilateral resolution' of the issue.
