Pakistan's National Assembly will decide when to hold general elections: Sharif

Islamabad, May 26 (UNI) Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said the country's National Assembly would decide the date for the next General Elections.
Sharif was speaking at the lower house of Parliament. His statement came after Pakistan Tehrik-e- Insaaf (PTI) Chairman and former Pakistan PM Imran Khan warned the government to dissolve the Assemblies and announce an election or else, he would come back to Islamabad after six days.
"I want to clarify to the leader of this group (PTI), your dictation won't work. This House will decide when to hold elections," the Dawn quoted Sharif as saying.
