New Delhi, Jun 14 (UNI) RSS Sah Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale has said that Pakistan is a failed state and its shambolic condition is due to disintegration of its power in the hands of four stakeholders thriving there--its Military, Maulvi(s), Ministerial executives and Militants. Speaking at the launch of inaugural issue of the quarterly journal 'Pakistan Watch' by India Policy Foundation at the Constitutional Club here last evening, chief guest Mr Hosabale said, 'Pakistan is a 'nationless state..,..It alleges that India adopts Pak-centric policies and militarily and politically Pakistan is always a target for India, but the fact is that Pakistan buckles as rogue power..,..It cannot provide welfare to its people because it has not developed its institutions like a developing nation does..,..It cannot make its people stand on their feet". "Pakistan's manufacturing sector is down, its economy is registering low growth and they are cornered by the Taliban which is creating havoc in many provinces and regions of that country", the RSS key functionary said. Quoting an international report of 2015, he said, Pakistan's internal bickerings in regions like Sind, Punjab etc have increased alarmingly. "Pakistan is not a state which understands the language of talks..,..History tells us that even after holding innumerable talks, not an inch progress has been made in improving ties..,..we share civilisational relationship with the country but without cultural equilibrium", he observed . "They form India-oriented policies with a belief of India as permanent enemy and to rupture this mentality, Pakistan's perception and outlook needs a big change', Mr Hosabale added. Senior executive editor, News Nation, Ajay Kumar put forth his views about the nuclear country saying that 'Pakistan Watch' is a medium to talk about all aspects concerning Pakistan.There are misconceptions, many ideas about the country and the common man thinks Pakistan is complex and 'unfinished business'. It is called 'Monolithic construct' and 'structured society', but not structured at all, Kumar said. "Their large segment of the population is anti -India and that embedded in their minds to the extent that they have fought four wars but not understood it's root cause. It is engaging in 'destructive competition' with India and this is evident by their dedication one full day in the assembly to the issues of their losing hold in West Asia and friendship with Iran. On the other hand, India is making considerable progress on these two counts. Mr Ajay said,' After seventy years of independence, two nations are moving in two different directions. India is on the firm path towards democracy whereas Pakistan has become a safe haven for terrorists and a big 'danger' to the world". "You can chose relations but not neighbours, but you can keep neighbours under control..,..There is nothing like bad terrorism and good terrorism, as Pakistan declares..,..Since 1985 , one lakh and forty thousand people have died in terror activities in India whereas in Pakistan the figure is seven lakhs ninety thousand since 1989. If Pakistan chooses to close down its 'militant churning factories' forty years it would take to stand on its feet. But there is no such solution in sight as of now..,..Its not right to blame the enemy country for the ills we suffer from. Former diplomat and thinker Vivek Katju was of the opinion that there is a great need to focus on Pakistan. It is a complex and difficult country. The most significant element of Pakistan is its 'army', Mr Katju said. In a leaked report in 2013, it came to know that they had called India a 'permanent threat' implying a 'permanent enemy' and based on this thinking they formulate their defence and political policies. In Pakistan, elected representatives are just a puppet in the hands of the military as policy formation and important decision taking is the pursuit of the army. Maintaining good relations with Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is a genuinely 'good step' but it is the army there which calls the shots, he said. "It was decided by both the countries that NSAs would meet in BangKok to initiate stalled dialogue of many months..,..India went out of its way and as a courtesy agreed for the NSA meeting. But immediately Pathankot incident happened..,..The message went was of 'weakness', Mr Katju said. "Prime Minister Modi had made it clear in August 2014 that Pak leaders will not meet the Hurriyat separatists but they were later allowed to meet. Message conveyed was again of weakness'..,..In diplomacy, message plays a key role', he said. But we hope consistency will prevail and the path to peace should not be through unnecessary flexibility, Katju added. Earlier, Prof Rakesh Sinha, Honorary Director, Indian Policy foundation said,' When Pakistan idea surfaced, Pakistan as an experiment emerged and this experiment will never cease..,..It was formed based on the ideology that that Muslims will constitute one nation". "The foundation was laid on "India hate' ideology..,..But a section in Pakistan thinks that unless Pakistan is culturally revived, it cannot progress as the legacies at the time of Independence were Islamic..,..The onus lies on India also to aid Pakistan to come out of its mess and see logically its welfare and interest so that it also tastes the fruit of development.
