Pak worried over spurt in COVID cases

Islamabad, Oct 21 (UNI) The Pakistan government on Wednesday expressed serious concern over the recent spurt in novel coronavirus cases keeping in mind a possible second wave of the pandemic.
In a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, here, the swollen figures of pandemic, compared to June and July were discussed.
The country reported 660 fresh cases during the past 24 hours, pushing the country caseload to 3,24,744. In the same period, 19 people lost their lives, soaring the death toll to 6,692.
