Pak violates ceasefire, fires unprovoked in Poonch

Jammu, Nov 15 (UNI) Pakistani Army on Wednesday fired unprovoked and violated the ceasefire agreement on the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Pakistan Army this morning at around 0815 hrs initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars in Bandichechiyan area of Poonch sector along the Line of Control (LC)," a defence spokesman here said.

He said that Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively and the firing is still on.

"No injury or damage has been reported so far in the firing," he said.
