Pak isolated after Pulhwama terror attack : Gen V K Singh

Shimla, Feb 18(UNI) Pakistan has been isolated internationally after Pulwama terror attack this was
stated by Union Minister of State for External Affairs General VK Singh while addressing mediapersons here
Monday,
He said that more than 40 nations have issued strong statements against the neighbouring country.
This is a big success of our external and diplomatic policy that the number of countries supporting
India’s stand is higher than the number of the countries which had supported India even after 26/11
attack in Mumbai, he added.
Responding to several questions, the Minister said ‘India will choose time and place in retaliation to recent
terror attack on CRPF convoy as it will be properly planned and well thought of.’ ‘What is being planned,
I don’t know. But as former Army chief, I can tell you any war, war like or punitive action must be planned for
achieving success. It should be a cold act and nothing is to be done in a hurry.’ he added.
To further questions, General Singh said ‘Even Osama (Bin Laden) was not killed in a day despite the fact USA
had known he was hidden in Pakistan.’ The Minister said ‘Let us wait and watch and support our forces.’
Responding to a question regarding intelligence failure and connivance of some insiders behind Pulwama attack,
he said the entire matter is being analysed. The Minister said it should also be analysed why terror activities increased
in South Kashmir since 2012 after a lull of several years. On being asked regarding abolition of Article 370, he said
‘Ask this question from all the (political) parties.
It can not be abolished until supported by other political parties.’ He came to Shimla to launch BJP’s campaign ‘Bharat Ke
Mann Ki Baat, Modi Ke Saath’ in Himachal Pradesh
Views from the public regarding their expectations will be taken from all the 68 Assembly segments of the state under
this campaign in the coming days, he said adding that some of the important views would be included in BJP’s manifesto
for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
