Pak fires unprovoked on LoC in Rajouri

Jammu, Jan 3 (UNI) Pakistan yet again violated the truce agreement by firing unprovoked on the Line of Control in Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of Small arms, automatics and mortars from 1740 hours to 1930 hours in Rajouri sector along the Line of Control (LC)," defence spokesman here said.
He said that Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively to the provocation.
Earlier on Wednesday evening, BSF jawan attained martyrdom on International Border in Samba sector of Jammu region.

Nagaland to launch Tourist Police in Hornbill festival

Kohima, Nov 18 (UNI) With the Hornbill Festival just around the corner, the Nagaland Government has announced that it will be launching Tourist Police unit in the wake of rising footfalls of both foreign and domestic tourists to the popular annual Hornbill Festival at Kisama and the formal launching will be done by Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio tentatively on November 23.
