Pak Army claims 20 Taliban fighters killed in Spin Boldak, Taliban claims heavy enemy casualties and destruction of military infrastructure

Kabul/Islamabad, Oct 15 (UNI) Pakistan Army claimed to have killed nearly 20 fighters of the Afghan Taliban during the fierce Pak-Afghan cross-border clashes between the two countries, with both sides providing conflicting data on injuries, and casualties.
As per Pakistani media, its security forces successfully pushed back a large-scale Taliban offensive in Balochistan early Wednesday, killing an estimated 15-20 fighters in the region of Spin Boldak, close to the Afghan frontier.
According to Islamabad, Taliban fighters attacked from four directions in an apparent attempt to breach Pakistani positions on the frontier, after which its armed personnel took to firing and repelled the assault following several hours of heavy fighting. Officials claimed a number of militants were wounded and some fled back across the border.
