Chandigarh, Jan 19 (UNI) Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said the 'Padma' scheme will prove to be a landmark for the rural sector, as it will create new employment opportunities for lakhs of youth and also increase the income of panchayats.
Giving this information after presiding over a meeting of officers regarding 'Padma' scheme, Chautala said the state government is working on the Padma scheme expeditiously. He said to promote MSMEs in the state, a 'Land-Pool Policy' is being formulated, its draft has been prepared and soon it will be finalised.
He said under land pooling, about fifty acres of land would be raised in each block. Some products have been fixed block-wise by the state government, which will also help in getting the export done.
