Owaisi raises mob lynching issue, accuses BJP of hurting minorities

Hazaribagh, Dec 7 (UNI) AIMIM supremo and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi raised the issue of mob lynchings which has taken place in Jharkhand so far and accused the BJP of hurting the community.

Addressing an election meeting in Nawada of Bishnugarh block which falls under Mandu seat he said that an uproar took place in the country post the mob lynching of Alimuddin in Ramgarh. He said that some of the culprits were held guilty and put behind bars and when they were released on bail Hazaribagh MP Jayant Sinha had welcomed the culprits by garlanding them.

He said that post the death of Alimuddin, his son Shahzada died and now his mother was helpless. He said that he had come to give a message that the community needs to fight for its rights and teach a lesson to such elements.

Owaisi said that five years ago BJP was given an opportunity but it did not do anything for the community but rather hurt it. He said that more than 18 incidents of mob lynching have taken place in which 18 people were killed. Owaisi said that in all the mob lynching incidents Dalits, Muslims and tribals were targetted.

He said that when their representatives will be from their community inside the assembly than they will be raising their voice. He said that for taking on the fight they need not shed their tears and asked the people to ensure the victory of party candidate Hamid Hashmi from the Mandu seat.
