Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Feb 18 2016 3:36PM Over six lakh benefited from MGNREGS in MeghalayaShillong, Feb 18 (UNI) Out of the total 9,90,000 people who have registered under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in Meghalaya, more than six lakh have been benefited by the scheme. This was informed by the Meghalaya State Rural Employment Society, project manager, G B Lyngdoh here today.“This hundred day employment scheme is very functional here in Meghalaya and has immensely benefited people in rural areas of the state,” Mr Lyngdoh said.
