Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Aug 28 2016 9:25PM Over one lakh monsoon birds arrive in Bhitarkanika National ParkKendrapada, Aug 28 (UNI) Over one lakh monsoon birds, including 42,911 adult birds, thronged Bagagahan and Mathadia forests within the Bhitarkanika National Park and the forest officials this year sighted 21,920 nest inside the park. Rajnagar Mangrove (Forest) and wildlife Division DFO Bimal Prasanna Acharaya said the avains have chosen 2,298 numbers of mangrove trees for nesting and breeding this monsoon season as per the monsoon bird census report .
