Over 700 manufacturers to participate in 3-day 'CapIndia 2018'

Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) Over 700 manufacturers will showcase their
products at the three-day 3rd edition of 'CapIndia 2018' to be held
from March 22 to 24 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon in
north Mumbai.
Briefing reporters about the event here on Wednesday, A K Basak,
chairman, PLEXCONCIL, said, "'CapIndia 2018' is a very significant
show for our members as we target to cross the USD 8 billion mark in
2017-18. Plastics are among the fastest growing industries in India
experiencing a double-digit growth rate on an average."
Spread over 18,000 sq mtr, the 700 plus manufacturers/exporters will
showcase a wide array of products, including a range of industrial
and agricultural raw materials, consumer items, packaging items,
plastics processing machinery and construction materials and mining
products amongst others at the event.
'CapIndia' will host 400 international buyers from across the globe,
who will likely attend the buyer-seller meets being organised as
part of the government’s market access initiatives (MAI) scheme to
promote key export segments through platforms that foster closer
trade collaboration between Indian manufacturers- exporters and
target countries.
The event, organised jointly by PLEXCONCIL, CHEMEXCIL, CAPEXIL &
SHEFEXIL, will be held under aegis of the Department of Commerce,
government of India (GOI), and is supported by Department of
Chemicals and Petrochemicals, GOI.
It is one of the largest sourcing and networking events for the
chemicals, plastics, construction and mining industries as well as
allied products.
