Over 7 cr pilgrims take holy dip at Sangam in 6 days

Prayagraj, Jan 16 (UNI) The sacred confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and the mystical Saraswati at Sangam Triveni is witnessing an extraordinary display of devotion and faith as saints, Kalpvasis and devotees gather in large numbers to take the holy dip.
In just six days, from January 11 to January 16, over 7 crore pilgrims have taken the holy dip at the Sangam, marking an unparalleled spiritual milestone. On Thursday alone, more than 30 lakh devotees bathed in the sacred waters, seeking virtue and divine blessings.
It may be noted that the Yogi government anticipates that over 45 crore people will attend the Maha Kumbh this time. The early figure of 7 crore bathers at the start of the event strongly indicates this projection.
