Over 45 lakh e-cards generated under Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojna: Sidhu

Chandigarh, Nov 23 (UNI) Health & Family Welfare Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu on Monday said under Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojna 45 lakhs e-cards have been generated and 4.66 lakh beneficiaries availed cashless treatment of worth Rs 528.08 crores in the empanel hospitals across the State.
Chairing a meeting, Mr Sidhu said till now, the top five districts leading in e-card generation are Ludhiana, Amritsar, Patiala, Fazilka and Jalandhar.
He reviewed the plan of the e-card generation agency and instructed them to issue e-cards to the entire beneficiary population within next six months and gave a minimum target of generation of at least 10,000 e-cards per day to the agency.
