Over 4,000 infected with Coronavirus in Jharkhand Police Department, death toll at 12

Ranchi, Sep 21 (UNI) A total of 4,915 police personnel have tested positive for Coronavirus so far in Jharkhand Police Department, a statement issued by the state police headquarters said today.
Out of these 4,915 police personnel, 1 is an ADG rank officer, 4 are SP Rank officers, 2 are ASP rank officers, 24 are DSP rank officials, 67 are inspector rank officers, 311 are Sub Inspector rank officers, 402 are Assitant Sub Inspector rank officers, 12 are higher level rank clerks, 545 are constables, 3,313 are jawans/drivers, 168 are fourth grade employees and 59 home guards.
On the other hand 4,515 policemen have been cured and discharged.

Kolkata, Apr 18 (UNI) West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose on Thursday said he has cancelled his proposed visit to the poll-bound northern districts, including Cooch Behar, a day after the Election Commission of India suggested to the gubernatorial office that his presence may invite the violence of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), which is already enforced for the first phase of polling on Friday.
