Moscow, Dec 11 (UNI) The information infrastructure of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which Russia hosted this summer, has been targeted by over 25 million cyberattacks, Nikolai Murashov, deputy director of the Russian National Cyberthreat Response Center, said on Tuesday.
"The information structure of the football World Cup alone has been targeted by over 25 million malicious attacks," Murashov said at a briefing.
The World Cup was held from June 14 to July 15 in 11 cities located across Russia.
