Over 1k health workers vaccinated in Nagaland

Kohima Jan 19 (UNI) Altogether 1,458 healthcare workers, including doctors, nurses and supporting staff, have been vaccinated in the State as of yesterday with the Covishield vaccine in Nagaland.
According to a press release issued by Nagaland State, Immunisation Officer Dr Ritu Thurr informed that the vaccination was carried out across 22 sites including private hospitals, where healthcare workers from both public and private facilities were vaccinated safely.
She also informed that all vaccinated healthcare workers will receive the subsequent second dose after 28 days and COVID-19 appropriate behaviour will be strictly maintained even after the vaccination.
