Over 17.4 lakh bank accounts opened under PMJDY, 14.4 lakh RuPay cards issued in J&K

Srinagar, Dec 30 (UNI) Over 17.4 lakh banks accounts have been opened under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) while over 14.4 lakh RuPay Debit Cards have been issued in Jammu and Kashmir till now.
Officials said under PMJDY, over 17.4 lakh bank accounts have been opened and over 14.4 Lakh RuPay Debit Cards issued among the beneficiaries in the State.
Out of 14.4 Lakh RuPay Cards issued by banks operating in J&K, 8.85 lakh are active.
