Our scientists have created history: Kejriwal

New Delhi, Sep 7 (UNI) Standing in solidarity with the Indian scientists, on the last minute snag which met on the Chandrayaan-2 mission, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday told them not to lose heart as they have done a great job.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr Kejriwal said, “We are proud of our scientists. They have created history. No need to lose heart. Our scientists have done a great job. Jai Hind!”
Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said, “Congratulations to the scientists of ISRO. Today you have knocked on the door of the moon, tomorrow you will land on it’s ground.”
ISRO’s ambitious Chandrayaan-2 moon landing mission which carried a lander and the rover to be placed on the Moon’s surface, received a setback as the mission control ground station at ISTRAC lost control of the lander ‘Vikram’ during the last few seconds of it’s scheduled landing on the southern polar region of the moon.
