Our forces are capable to challenge any security threat in J&K: Jitendra

Jammu, Oct 20 (UNI) Lauding the troops deployed in Jammu and Kashmir Union MoS in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh on Friday said that our forces are capable to deal with any security threat in the state. "Our security forces are capable enough to deal with any security threat in Jammu and Kashmir," Dr Singh here told reporters on the sidelines of a function. He said, "troops deployed along the international border and the Line of Control are effectively dealing with the challenges of infiltration," adding, "simultaneously terrorist related incidents in the State are also being very successfully dealt." He also showered words of praise for the jawans of Jammu and Kashmir Police for their excellent role in fighting against terrorists. Dr Singh however, slammed a section of anti-national forces, who are misguiding youth in the Valley. The Union Minister after releasing a short film "Muntazir" on elders abuse, said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government in Centre has taken many initiatives to address the genuine of problems of the elders". "It has happened for the first time that even the people who have never been into a government or some other job, have been provisioned to get pension after attaining the age of retirement". "Indian society would soon become a system where there will be old age pension for all on the pattern of Western societies," said Dr Singh.
