Otolaryngologists treate patients with deformities

Ambassa(Tripura), Aug 24 (UNI) Association of Otolaryngologists(AIO) with cooperation from Dhalai District Divyangan Rehabilitation Centre(DDRC) and Sudarshan Foundation conducted free surgery of 14 patients with deformities in the district hospital at Kulai in the subdivision of Ambassa in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here today.
The initiative taken up by AIO aimed at curbing the snowballing deformities in the sector among the poor and the governmental wing and the NGO came forward.
The programme was formally inaugurated by the Sabhadhipati of Dhalai Zilla Parishad Rubi Ghosh(Gope). The Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) Parimal Debabrma was the chief guest.
