Mr Rai said Prime Minister Mr Modi would announce a number of development projects during his visit to the state. He also thanked PM, union finance minister Arun Jaitley and convener of the Group of Ministers (GoM) on GST and deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi for understanding problems of small and medium class businessmen and so they were provided relaxations in GST.

Mr Rai said that the state BJP leaders and workers took a resolve to eradicate casteism and corruption from Bihar during the two day state party executive meeting.
He said, it was necessary to launch a campaign against casteism as the state could not development if the social malaise existed in the state. He said that full time workers had been engaged to make the party stronger in all 243 assembly constituencies of the state.

Briefing about the decisions taken in the state party executive meeting, the party`s district executive committee meetings would be held for two days from October 9 and divisional level party executive meetings on October 11 and October12.
He said that ‘Shakti Kendra’ meetings would be held from October 27 to October 30. He said it was decided to take a ‘Kerala march’ in protest against murder of party workers in Kerala.
