Opposition stages walkout over CAG report

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 20 (UNI) Opposition Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) on Wednesday staged a walkout from Kerala Assembly in protest against denial of an adjournment motion over the CAG report on KIFFB.
Seeking the leave of the House to move the adjournment motion in this regard, Congress member VD Satheesan said the Minister violated the constitution, availing overseas loans through KIIFB and leaking the CAG report before tabling the same in the Assembly.
Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala said explanation in this regard of Dr Thomas Isaac was not satisfactory and he was circumventing the valid questions by blaming constitutional bodies.
