Opposition leaders to sell Pakodas after 2019 Lok Sabha polls if BJP retains power at Centre: Akhilesh

Saifai, Sep 14 (UNI) Samajwadi Party president and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav said on Friday that if Opposition fails to ouster BJP in 2019 Lok Sabha polls, then opposition leaders will be forced to sell 'Pakodas' on the street as democracy would end that day.
"If we fail to defeat BJP in the next polls, then be ready to sell Pakodas near drains as Prime Minister says that Nullah gives gas and employment to the youths," he said.
"The democracy would end that day if BJP retains the power in 2019," he said.
Mr Yadav was speaking at Prajatantra Bachao, Desh Bachao cycle rally here on Friday.
He said that this cycle Yatra would not stop and it will create awareness about the conspiracy of the BJP to threaten the democracy.
"This cycle rally would save the democracy of the country," he said.
"People are now aware about the conspiracy of BJP, which they implemented in 2017 assembly polls in the state, to ouster our development plank. People will give the BJP a befitting reply in the 2019 polls, Mr Yadav said.
He announced that BJP government has denied government jobs to dalit and backward youths and if SP returns to power in the state in 2022 then the old system of recruitment would be implemented .
