Opposition Congress and  BJP stall Odisha Assembly, stage walk out

Bhubaneswar, Sep 19 (UNI) Opposition Congress and BJP members today stalled the business of the Odisha Assembly till 1500 hours and later staged a noisy walk out at 1525 hours expressing strong resentment over the functioning of the government.
The protest by the Opposition members forced Speaker P K Amat to adjourn the house twice during the pre-lunch session from 10 30 to 11 30 hours and again at 1134 hours to 1500 hours without any business.
While the Congress members protested against the Speaker’s refusal to accept their notice for adjournment motion on the deteriorating law and order situation, the BJP members slammed the government’s unwillingness to audit the Biju Yuva Vahini Scheme.
