Dharwad, Nov 27 (UNI) As many as 281 students and faculty have so far tested positive for the coronavirus in a fresh outbreak at the hostels of SDM College of Medical Sciences here on Saturday.
However, there are only six infected people found to be symptomatic out of 281, Dharwad Deputy Commissioner Nitish Patil told the media.
The number of infected people may further rise because the administration is awaiting the results of 1,822 others sent for testing, he said.
