ONGC Tournament: HPCL defeat EIL by 117 runs

Panaji, Mar 1 (UNI) HPCL defeated EIL by 117 runs, thus registering their first win in the tournament.
Bating first HPCL posted a huge target of 220/7 in 20 overs, Adeep Usmani missed his century by 9 runs before he was dismissed for 91 of 41 balls. Aditya vikram (EIL) took 3 wickets for 45 runs. In reply EIL failed to chase the target and were bundled out for 103. Onkar Jadhav and Nishant Willams took 2 wickets each in a match played at MCC.
The second match played at Arlem between BPCL and OIL, BPCL won by 9 wickets, after winning the toss BPCL decided to field first and restricted OIL for 103 in 20 overs. Aavishkar S and Shreyas Iyer took one wicket each. Pragyan Ojha gave away 25 runs in 4 overs. Shreyas Iyer’s 67 and Bhavin Thakar’s 29 not out helped BPCL achieve the target in 13.4 overs.
