One more youth dies, toll 42, about 3500 injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 16 (UNI) With the death of one more youth today, the death toll has gone up to 42 while about 3500 others, half of them security personnel, were injured in the violence, erupted after the killing of top Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) commander Burhan Wani and two other militants on July 8. Official sources said people defied restrictions at Hatmullah in the frontier district of Kupwara and attacked a police post. Security forces opened fire in which three persons were injured who were immediately shifted to hospital where one of them died. There were reports of protests and clashes in different parts of the Valley today. UNI BAS SW BD2228
