Amravati/Nagpur, Aug 12 (UNI) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday arrested one more accused in connection with the murder of chemist Umesh Kolhe in Maharashtra's Amravati, an official said.
The accused has been identified as Shaikh Shakeel (28), a resident of Imamnagar, Lalkhadi in Amravati.
With this arrest, the total number of arrests rose to 10 in connection with the crime.
Shaikh's role in the murder conspiracy came to light during the investigation.
Umesh Kolhe (54) was killed in Amravati on June 21 for sharing a social media post supporting suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma's controversial remarks over Prophet Mohammad.
